The 3^rd „Vienna Week“ in Opatija will take place from 17-23 September 2012, thanks to the ongoing excellent collaboration between the main organizer, Andreas Madejski, and the cities of Vienna and Opatija. For seven days the occasion will feature exclusive gastronomic delights, a round-table with renowned experts from Vienna and Opatija, an exhibition, musical evenings and dancing nights, children’s workshops and a charity event.

The grand highlight of the “Vienna Week” is the elegant “Viennese Ball” on Saturday, 22 September 2012 in the Crystal Hall of the historic Hotel Kvarner, situated right at the shore of the Adriatic Sea.

In its 5^th year the now traditional “Viennese Ball” will be attended by international guests -ambassadors, the mayors of Opatija’s partner-cities, politicians from Vienna with their business-entourage and numerous notable business-people and politicians from Croatia.

Those responsible for organizing the events are the cities of Vienna and Opatija, the agency “Kvarner Touristik”, Festival Opatija, Lions Club Opatija and all the participating Hotels in Opatija.
